We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for getting to know more about Dog Gone Deli. As a former pet store manager and long time dog lover, our goal is to provide our customers with a healthy variety of pet treats made with the safest, freshest ingredients possible.
After working for many years in the pet industry, we found it difficult to recommend to our customers the proper treats for their dogs. Don't get us wrong, we've given our dogs the same processed treats as everyone else. But if we had something better for them would we? Absolutely! Dog Gone Deli was then created to provide animal lovers like ourselves with something better and different to give to our pets.
It's our job as "parents" to make sure our dogs eat a little bit healthier. Dog Gone Deli's products offer healthy alternatives to commercialized processed treats and offer a variety of flavors to liven up any pooch's palate.
We have two distinct lines of treats. Our Better Bites are completely all natural treats. Our Dog Gone Delights are a gourmet line of treats that are still made with the best wholesome ingredients but are more fun. We take pride in the fact that we do not hide any of our ingredients. We list all ingredients within an ingredient and do not leave out any information on food coloring. Our Ingredients:
We use the only the finest ingredients in our products. Most of our products will contain some of the following: whole wheat flour, unbleached white flour, low fat milk, eggs, and canola oil. Some of the other ingredients you may find are:
Peanut Butter: Our peanut butter is all natural ground peanuts. No other ingredients. You can feel good about giving your pet peanut butter with out stabilizers, sugars or salt.
Carob: We use carob as a healthy substitute for chocolate. It is well known that chocolate is not safe for dogs to consume. Carob on the other hand, does not contain caffeine and is full of vitamins. This makes carob a great treat for dogs.
Food Coloring: When possible, we use all natural food coloring derived from vegetables. They contain no synthetic dyes or corn syrup. If a natural color has been used it will be stated in the ingredients list.
Bacon: The bacon in our treats is a top of the line uncured bacon. It contains no nitrates, no antibiotics, and contains 38% less sodium than other bacons. Ingredients: pork, brown sugar, celery juice, salt, sodium lactate, and lactic acid starter culture.
Chicken or Beef Stock: We use certified USDA organic low sodium chicken and beef broths.
Baking Powder: The baking powder used in our baked goods is all natural and aluminum free
